Waterstone personnel have been actively involved in all aspects of compliance auditing for over 20 years.  Led by three broadly experienced and recognized experts, our regulatory compliance services are supported by personnel trained in all areas of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and many state and local regulatory compliance elements.  We utilize an online computer system that provides us with the most updated environmental, health and safety regulations.

Permits and Plans

 

Waterstone personnel have obtained numerous permits under the Stormwater Pollution Prevention General WDRs for Industrial Facilities, numerous permits under the Stormwater Pollution Prevention General WDRs for Construction Activities, permits for discharge under the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and site specific WDR permits for the subsurface discharge of treated water as well as for the discharge of soil.

Regulatory Compliance Monitoring

Waterstone is well-versed in regulatory monitoring requirements for facilities that have undergone site assessments and remediation or have monitoring requirements associated with a permit or land-use covenant. Waterstone subcontracts with local sampling and analysis companies and prepares the monitoring reports that are submitted to local and state agencies.These may include any or all of the following monitoring types:

  • Stormwater Discharge Monitoring for NPDES Permits

  • Groundwater Monitoring

  • Indoor Air Monitoring

  • Soil Vapor Monitoring

Waste Classification

Waterstone has a team of professionals that routinely perform waste classification for clients that are required by law to regulate waste. Due to our long experience in regulatory compliance, Waterstone has performed waste classification for numerous industries both to support routine site operations and to provide expert testimony on litigated issues.
